Maintenance:
  • Adding custom dialogs and business logic to the loan underwriting system (GFS Millenium) using the vendor's MFC based toolkit and proprietary database access API against Microsoft SQL Server 6.5
  • Adding functionality to the in-house web application which served as the loan origination system for external clients and the workflow system for several internal departments. Built using Microsoft IIS, ASP, SQL Server 7.0, it made extensive use of stored procedures, ADO database access from within ASPs, and complex decision logic.
New Development:
  • Module to merge data from three credit bureaus based on criteria developed by the risk analysis department (SQL7/VC++ extended stored procedures)
  • Reporting system which gave department managers great flexibility in fine tuning reports on the daily activity of client lenders (Visual Basic)
  • Apache web server-based system that automated the setup of newly closed loans on the FICS servicing system (Perl and Easysoft ODBC-ODBC Bridge)
  • System allowing client lenders to directly export files generated by their loan origination software over a virtual private network into the Amaximis system. The successful loan submission was then automatically confirmed by SQL7 Mail. (C, Perl)
